An admission consultation with our Licensed Social Worker is the first step in the Admissions process. The goal of the consultation is to determine admission criteria, determine eligibility and offer admission following the interview and psychiatric evaluation. Financial responsibilities are met through our business office.
Becoming a “COTTAGE” Resident
- New residents meet with a “Cottage Ombudsman” (current residents who have volunteered to help a new resident get acquainted with “THE COTTAGES”) and are assigned a room;
- The resident and family will then proceed to the business office to discuss financial arrangements, provide for payment arrangements and sign a guarantee of payment form;
- The resident, along with family/friend members, are invited to lunch to experience our culinary program (organically grown vegetables from our horticultural garden in combination with “Cottages – Eat for Health” menu plan). All meals are designed and prepared to be nutritionally beneficial for our resident’s health and overseen by our Chef and Registered Dietician.
