The Cottages on Mountain Creek LLC is an Atlanta-based LLC in place to service adults aged 18 and older living with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, major depression and OCD, as well as and other forms of mental illness. Our Mission is to promote stabilization and recovery from the effects of mental illness through therapies geared toward thinking, behavior, relationships and the ability to maintain gainful employment. Our programs are geared toward reintegration into the community while working toward the goal of allowing residents to live independently. In partnership with a clinical team, as well as families and the community, we seek to provide a comprehensive treatment program.
The Cottages on Mountain Creek is Accredited by the Joint Commission as a Behavioral Healthcare Facility and is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Personal Care Home.
Our program is specifically designed to serve individuals who are seeking to move toward stabilization and recovery. Our program offers care and services to residents over the age of 18. Our primary focus is for the care and well-being of those living with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, major depression and OCD. Our 24/7 residential treatment program is geared toward a three to 12 month stay that has been established with the goal of re-incorporating higher functioning mentally ill residents back into a home setting and/or an independent living setting with supportive follow-up services. Our Supportive Living and Day Programs are in place for to help our residents obtain their individual goals. Stays can from as short as several months to long-term.
The Cottages on Mountain Creek, LLC has submitted all documentation to the IRS for obtaining its 501 (C) 3 not-for-profit status.
Status: It is anticipated that we will have our Not-for-Profit status completed within the next six months.
